The Duplo Gates

The authentic Duplo Gates on eBay ("Gone but not forgotten!")

Inspired by Christo's Gates in Central Park, Nicky decided to create his own Gate installation. Pulling out his box of Duplo, large Lego blocks, Nicky decided to stick to a primary color scheme including red, yellow, blue, and green. Installation of the Duplo Gates took less than 15 minutes. Nicky with the help of his demolition crew, Julian (age 7) and Mathew (7 months), was able to take down the installation in less than 5 seconds. Beautiful art is so fleeting. Life is long, art is short.
